Stockholm - straight fit unisex raincoat
Named after our hometown and the city of our dreams, the Stockholm raincoat is as deeply rooted within the Stutterheim DNA as Alexander Stutterheim himself. In fact, the Stockholm raincoat is a direct descendant of our Arholma jacket and this raincoat is undeniably one of Stutterheim’s classics. For six years, we’ve been updating this classic, experimenting with different colors, patterns and materials to create seasonal variations which sit alongside our core collection. Since its introduction, the Stockholm has been worn by celebrities from Nathalie Portman to Kanye West, helping us to spread our message of drawing inspiration from melancholy. It has a straight cut making it suitable for both men and women and comes in our original 530gsm rubberized cotton.shop raincoats
Mosebacke - A line women’s raincoat
Flowy and feminine, the Mosebacke raincoat takes its name from the romantic spot at the top of a hill on the island of Södermalm in Stockholm. Mosebacke square is a cultural gathering point, regularly hosting concerts, dinners and events. And just round the corner from one of the most spectacular views over Stockholm. The Mosebacke raincoat is the A-lined version of our most iconic style, made in our classic rubberized cotton. Added to our range as an alternative for our female customers, looking for a stylish, feminine raincoat. Whether caught in a shower of rain on a Sunday stroll, or dancing the night away at an outdoor concert, the flowing lines of the Mosebacke coat won’t restrict you in your desire to be in continuous motion.shop raincoats
Story of Arholma
Based on our founder Alexander Stutterheim’s grandfather’s raincoat worn in the 1960’s, the Arholma coat bares a special meaning. Alexander was going through his grandfather’s belongings shortly after he passed away and uncovered an old fisherman’s raincoat. His grandfather lived his last years on the small island of Arholma in the Stockholm archipelago. He was a headstrong man, constantly swaying between creative and melancholic states of mind, not unlike his nearest neighbour, the ocean. Alexander brought the coat with him when he returned to the city. There, on the kitchen floor of his old apartment, Alexander created the pattern for the first ever Stutterheim coat as a homage to his grandfather. An updated version of this classic piece of outerwear, better suited to the needs of its modern wearer. It was from this very same apartment that the first 200 Stutterheim raincoats were soldshop raincoats
