The Arvid coat is made in the finest cotton fabric from the factory of Limonta, in Italy. Limonta is recognised as the best cotton supplier in the world and for the Arvid coat, the fabric has a storm protection layer which makes it withstand even the heaviest storms and light rains. The wool lining is hand-dyed and handwoven by a family mill in Scotland. The tartan pattern is our own and was approved by the Scottish Register of Tartans in May 2012. In terms of its design, our tartan represents the Swedish colours of sun and water. Each aspect of Arvid has had considerable attention to detail, even down to the hidden buttons. We like to think of Arvid as a unique coat in a every aspect of its creation.
Made with the utmost attention to material and detail in a classic cut inspired by grandad’s old city coat. This is the Stutterheim version of an all weather coat that can be worn both in light rain and on a sunny day. It ́s made of a heavy duty, specially waxed cotton fabric and it has an exclusive cotton lining. Turn up the collar, light a cigarette under a lamp post and wait for your loved one. Your Lydia perhaps. If she doesn’t arrive you can walk away in pride, wearing the coolest raincoat around. Embracing inner and outer demons have never looked better.
The Arvid raincoat has a regular cut. If you'll be wearing a suit underneath, please consider sizing up. Keep in mind that the sizes are men's sizes. Please use our virtual size guide located next to the product.
