Since 2010 we’ve been proudly providing protective outerwear to people around the world, however we’re painfully aware that many people lack the necessary clothing to protect themselves in cold, wet weather.

You can help us fight this. From December 1st - 24th, for every order you place on we will pay for warm clothing for three refugee children through the UN Refugee Agency UNHCR.

During this season of giving, you can help us to make a difference, and make your shopping experience that little bit more rewarding. To encourage you to join in, we’re handpicking a different Stutterheim design each day which will receive an exclusive 24hr discount. Join us as we reveal a new offer every day on our countdown to Christmas, and share some in-depth stories behind our most popular designs.

So treat yourself or a loved one, knowing that you’re also helping others.

30% off Mosebacke Light Blue

The Mosebacke Story

Flowy and feminine, the Mosebacke raincoat takes its name from the romantic spot at the top of a hill on the island of Södermalm in Stockholm. Mosebacke square is a cultural gathering point, regularly hosting concerts, dinners and events. A visit to the nearby bar, Mosebacke Terrace, reveals one of the most spectacular views over Stockholm.

The Mosebacke raincoat is the A-lined version of our most iconic style, made in our classic rubberized cotton. Added to our range as an alternative to our female customers, to include a little bit of femininity in our world of rainwear.

Whether caught in a shower of rain on a Sunday stroll, or dancing the night away at an outdoor concert, the flowing lines of the Mosebacke coat won’t restrict your desire to be in continuous motion.

The Stockholm Story

Named after our hometown and the city of our dreams, the Stockholm coat is as deeply rooted within the Stutterheim DNA as Alexander Stutterheim himself. In fact, the Stockholm raincoat is a direct descendant of our Arholma jacket, inspired by the original coat that Alexander found in his grandfather’s barn in the Stockholm archipelago. The Stockholm is undeniably one of Stutterheim’s classics.

One of the benefits of living in the Swedish capital is the constant ebb and flow of new residents living alongside lifelong Stockholmers. People from all over the world, living, working, breathing life into this city, constantly providing us with new places to discover. We hope that will never change. The Stockholm coat follows a similar pattern. For six years, we’ve been updating this classic, experimenting with different colors, patterns and materials to create seasonal variations which sit along side our core collection.

Since its introduction, the Stockholm has been worn by celebrities from Nathalie Portman to Kanye West, helping us to spread our message of drawing inspiration from melancholy. The Stockholm jacket, like the thousands of artistic souls with whom we share our home, will continue to evolve and provide us with a sense of security.
