Animal Approved – 100% Vegan

The iconic contrasting soles feature a chunky tread pattern to ensure traction and stability on a variety of surfaces. Take a guilt-free stroll through the countryside knowing that your rainboots are 100% vegan.

Easy on, easy off

The pull tab on the rear combined with the elasticated side panels ensure the rainboots slip on and off easily. 100% cotton lining - comfortable and durable.

No plastic

Hand made in 100% Natural Rubber - vulcanised for durability. The natural rubber is soft and supple, whilst being extremely durable due to the vulcanisation process, so you'll be walking for smiles.

How do the rainboots fit, are they true to size?

Our rubber boots generally fit true to size, however many people like to wear them with thick socks during winter and therefore choose the larger of two options if they're between sizes. We recommend measuring the insoles of a pair of shoes you already own to compare to our measurements below for the best chance of a perfect fit.

Rainboots for everyone, everywhere

Wellington boots have adorned the feet of wearers from all walks of life, from the 1st Duke of Wellington from whom the style took its name, to the trotters of a certain cartoon pig going by the name of Peppa. Following the invention of the vulcanisation process by Charles Goodyear, the original leather boots were made available in a waterproof rubber which gave rise to rainboots being adopted by the masses, from French peasants working the fields to aristocratic landowners. Still rainboots had a distinctly utilitarian feel best suited to rural environments. This is in stark contrast to the Chelsea boot, a style initially made popular by Queen Victoria, which then became the footwear of choice for iconic ‘60s rock bands populating Chelsea in west London. Elegant, modish, but not best suited rain, mud or snow. Our Chelsea Rainwalkers stand in the middle of this booty spectrum, combining the practical elements of a wellington boot with the timeless style of the Chelsea boot. Dressed up or down, pounding the pavement or scrambling up a muddy embankment, our Rainwalker rainboots really are suitable for everyone, everywhere.
