Care For Your Raincoat

But for a garment to last a lifetime, it does need a little help along the way – the right care. Here are some things to keep in mind to make sure your coat is cared for in the best way.

Store your raincoat hanging to steer clear of creasing. Store it away from sunlight and do not hang it next to leather or dark denim to avoid discolouring.

If your coat does have creases, you can easily use a steamer to get rid of them. Always steam from the inside only.

If your coat has gotten dirt or stains on it, the simplest way to get rid of them is to carefully rub the surface with a damp cloth and soap. If the stains persist, you can wash the coat in the machine, on a 30-degree gentle cycle. Dry the coat hanging.
