STUTTERHEIM Shot by: Ana Suanes
Always having been a very observant person, Ana started using photography as a tool to relate to her environment and understanding the reality in which she exists. While turning her passion into a career, the core of her practice remains constant – a way to capture and express reality, viewing her surroundings through a lens and noticing details others might not.
“I strive to encapsulate the nuances that often go unnoticed, inviting others to view their surroundings with renewed curiosity.”
Her main inspirations are architecture and the spaces and people around her, with visual influences from artists such as Saul Leiter, William Eggleston and Sophie Calle.
Trois chiens andalous
We invited her to shoot our dog raincoats in Cordoba in Andalusia, where she is based. Three unruly Greyhounds served as models – this is her interpretation of an Andalusian dog.
