Care For Your Raincoat
Our raincoats are known for their long-lasting quality. We aim for longevity – meaning that once you've bought a raincoat from STUTTERHEIM, you shouldn't need to buy another one ever again. But for a garment to last a lifetime, it does need a little help along the way – the right care. Here are some things to keep in mind to make sure your coat is cared for in the best way.
How to store your raincoat
Store your raincoat hanging to steer clear of creasing. Store it away from sunlight and do not hang it next to leather or dark denim in order to avoid colour bleeding.
How to get rid of creases on your raincoat
If your raincoat has gotten creased, you can use a steamer or iron to easily remove the creases. Always steam and iron the coat from the inside only!
How to get rid of stains on your raincoat
If your raincoat has gotten dirty or stained, the simplest way to get it clean again is to carefully rub the surface with a damp cloth and soap. If the stains persist, you can wash the coat in the machine on a 30-degree gentle cycle. Dry the coat hanging and steam or iron it from the inside if needed.
