STUTTERHEIM Shot by: Jennifer Medina
Venezuelan-born, New York-based photographer, director and musician Jennifer Medina got into photography when she was a teenager. A child of the Tumblr era, she had a blog where she showcased her own and her friends’ outfits, styles and lives, setting up photoshoots every chance they got. Know online as Lulannie, she soon gained an extensive following and developed her own distinctive photography style – candy-coated, pastel-coloured and moody, like a true-blue teen dream.
Music is her main source of inspiration as well as travelling and meeting new people in new places. Over the years she’s made friends through photography and music all over the world, including Sweden and she’s made it a habit to stop here every time she comes to Europe.
“Midsummer and the Christmas festivities in Malmö are some of my most cherished times.”
Bright Lights, Big City
We asked Jennifer to capture our spring/summer ’24 collection through her lens and the outcome is a nocturnal adventure through Chinatown. The city’s vibrancy shines through the images and you can almost feel the sticky NYC summer heat and hear the hustle and bustle of the urban soundscape.
