Mosebacke Winter Matte is an artisanally made a-line-shaped warm raincoat for women. The sturdy and hard-wearing waterproof shell fabric has a matte-textured finish and is tailored with double-welded seams, making it impossible for any moisture to seep through, while the padding provides warmth during cold and snowy weather. Ease of movement and comfort is achieved with knitted wristlets and a drawstring hood.

"The coat size was a lot bigger than I thought and when I wanted to exchange it to one size smaller was told no as it was no returns. As I stated I wanted to exchange not return I was still told no. Disappointed. Now left with a coat that is swimming on me and an expensive price. Probably won't be ordering again as the customer service was disappointing"

A great transitional coat

"The jacket is very well made and protects against rain and wind. It also looks really stylish. I usually wear EU size 40–42, and size M fits me well. However, I wouldn’t call it a proper winter jacket for Northern Europe — it’s not suitable for temperatures below 0°C. Given the price, I expected better insulation. I have now bought another jacket for layering, but because of the bell shape, cold air still gets underneath. For temperatures around zero and above, it’s great, but I would consider it more of a transitional coat."

"Beautiful coat. Lovey shape! Very waterproof material. The interior is super warm and soft. My only complaint is that I am 5 foot 2 and it’s so long it touches the floor at the back. Totally a me issue but much more suited to someone’s bit taller. And due to this I wish I had gone for a black one as it’s looking super grubby already (I got the green one) but all in all a very good practical coat."

How do the size equate to old sizing? I was an xxxs but it seems you no longer have these?
  The old XXXS size is no longer available. Current sizes start from XS. The coats are slightly oversized, so: XS will give a more fitted look, similar to your old XXXS. S will feel more relaxed and roomy. We recommend measuring a jacket you already own and comparing it with the measurements on the product’s Fit & Size Guide to choose the best size.
